What is Glow in the Dark Printing?

To create a Glow-in-the-Dark effect, a phosphorescent ink is printed atop a light reflecting underbase. They have a high-gloss finish, and appear almost white during the daytime.

The Glow in the Dark ink is light sensitive and must be exposed to or "Charged" under light before being used in the dark.

Considerations for Glow in the Dark Printing

In daylight, our glow in the dark inks have a nearly white appearance. To get the full potential of glow, expose it for at least 30 seconds to light (Sunlight is best).

This effect is sure to get the attention of others, and can help you and your brand stand out.

Glow in the dark inks are water based and stay very soft after a wash, similar to our discharge ink.

The intensity of the glow effect will fade over time, but even after 20 washes the glow intensity is still apparent.

Glow in the dark printing can be used on a full design or in small sections to accentuate areas of your print.
